Australia’s tallest towers

High-rise living is being re-defined by ‘mega’ high-rise – a term that can be attached to a handful of residential towers sprouting up in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Offering every desirable facility, tight security and enviable views, they’re becoming a major status symbol for investors and owner occupiers alike, who have been snapping them up.
Frasers Property Group, developers of Lumiére at Regent Place, call it “Australia’s first vertical village”.
“Residents can find everything that they would find in a horizontal village like Paddington,” says Dr Stanley Quek, the company’s CEO.
“Delis, retail shops, and indoor-outdoor pools, theatrettes, spas and saunas, a two level function area and Club Lumiere… There is also a variety of units, as varied as there is in a horizontal village.”
