Regent Place, and its residential component Lumière, was highly praised by the Urban Taskforce of Australia at their Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony recently. The innovative, Foster + Partners designed ‘vertical village’ was the overall winner across a range of categories, claiming the coveted title, Australian Development of the Year.

The Urban Taskforce works throughout Australia to provide a forum for those involved in the development and planning of the urban environment and helping to maintain a balance between growing economies and the protection of the environment and quality of life.

The Urban Taskforce Awards recognise excellence in urban planning, design and development, of which Regent Place and its residential component, Lumière, are shining examples.
