Fraser Suites Sydney, Lumiere's 'sister' tower at Regent Place, has been shortlisted in the IDEA07 Awards in the Best Hospitality Interior category.

RLD designed the interiors of Fraser Suites Sydney, beautifully enlivening the architecture by Foster + Partners.

What is the 'big IDEA' behind this project?
Fraser Suites Sydney – an all suite hotel – embraces elegance and sophistication within a contemporary design context. The boutique design approach focuses on individuality for the 201-room all suite hotel in Australia’s largest and busiest city.

In line with contemporary design practice, many classic elements of the Entry Foyer have been given new life by their design application. The six metre high chandelier forms the focal point of the space and a cubist design, diamond ring inspired the feature mirror also located in the Entry Foyer. Its sheer size and geometric rhythm of faceted and bevelled edged mirrors sparkle like jewels, transforming a surface of reflection into an object within the space. This application of mirror is reinterpreted throughout the hotel to add sparkle and elegance.
